William Taylor and Mary Cochran

William Taylor was born in Virginia about 1800. Well before 1820 he had established residence in Switzerland County, Ohio and had married Mary Cochran, born abt. 1807 in Indiana. In The History of Switzerland County, Indiana (1885 Chicago: Weakley, Harraman & Co., Publishers, 1885), William and Mary are described as having been "old residents of the county."

6. WILLIAM E. TAYLOR- born September 1849

Possible additional children are Sarah Taylor and Nathaniel Taylor, both living with their families near William and Mary Taylor throughout the years in Posey Twp., Switzerland County, Indiana.
