Robert Harvey Taylor, son of William E. Taylor and Maranda Arrowschmidt, was born on 3 May 1887 in Patriot, Posey Township, Switzerland County, Indiana and died 2 October 1959 in Cinncinati, Hamilton County, Ohio. He is buried at Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, Hamilton County, Ohio. He was a Private 1st Class in the U.S Army and served as part of the U.S. Military Forces stationed at the Panama Canal Zone. Robert played guitar. He married on 14 July 1906 in Ohio; 1) Nell Wells, born 8 February 1888 in Jefferson, Jefferson County, Illinois, died 26 April 1973 in Grove City, Franklin County, Ohio. He married 2) Minnie D. Sims, born about 1904 in Kentucky.

1. ALICE LORRAINE TAYLOR - born 17 April 1907. Married Charles H. Knapp
2. HAZEL TAYLOR - born Aft. 1910, died about 1980
