EBENEZER KNAPP & ELIZABETH MCCRAY


 

EBENEZER KNAPP (Son of Daniel Knapp and Abigail Banks) was born 24 May 1724 in Fairifield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He died in March of 1793. He married 31 Dec 1750 in Fairfield County, Connecticut to Elizabeth McCray, born 1 Jul 1730 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Abigail was the daughter of Hugh McCray.

Ebenezer Knapp and Elizabeth McCray had the following known children:

1. SARAH KNAPP, born 20 Oct 1751, died 22 Aug 1837 in Connecticut, md. Isaac Morehouse.

2. ELIZABETH KNAPP, born 1753. Married Steven Seeley Wheeler.

3. EBENEZER KNAPP, born 29 Jun 1755 in CT., died 20 Jul 1827 in CT., md. 20 Apr 1780 in Fairfield Co., CT. to Mary Wilson

4. BENJAMIN KNAPP, born 14 Aug 1757 in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Married Elizabeth Fairwether 13 Jul 1780 in Fairfield County, CT.

5. GRISELL KNAPP, born Abt 1761. Married Ichabod Gold
