ANN KNAPP, (Son of John Knapp and Hannah Jennings) was born 2 Jun 1744 in Connecticut. She first married ANDREW MOREHOUSE (son of Abraham Morehouse & Elizabeth Patterson) and after his death she married his cousin, DAVID WHEELER MOREHOUSE (son of Ephraim Morehouse & Eunice Wheeler). By the time of the 1800 census her sons, Andrew, Mordecai and Eli, were living in Norfolk, Litchfield County, Connecticut and there was quite a nucleus of the descendants of the early immigrants, Roger Knapp and Thomas Morehouse, living there. Living near them (in fact he is listed on the same page of the census as these Roger Knapp descendants) is Thomas Knapp, the father of Jacob Knapp who married Martha Benson. In addition, Thomas Knapp's daughter, Hannah, married Eli Knapp, Ann Knapp Morehouse's son from her marriage to David Wheeler Morehouse.

I don't have information at this time for any children of Ann Knapp and Andrew Morehouse.
